Pensar el bicentenario argentino desde y con los pueblos indígenas : descolonizando memorias, identidades y narrativas

Abstract

O artigo ensaia algumas linhas sobre os povos indígenas e seu lugar no país à luz das reflexões que se reuniram para marcar o bicentenário da Argentina. Exibe as múltiplas e complexas relações que tramaram a vida desse coletivo social com o processo de construção do Estado central e a criação de uma Nação “branca, europeia e ocidental”. Com uma postura ético-política comprometida com o resgate das vozes dos outros, que busca a descolonização da memória coletiva, das identidades e das narrativas históricas, o ensaio busca, também, repensar historicamente o que deve a sociedade Argentina hoje a essas comunidades, ora marginalizadas, ora negadas, mas efetivamente presentes na atualidade e que deixaram suas marcas na cultura nacional.

the article proposes some lines about the indigenous peoples in Argentina in the context of the reflections that were given in the Bicentenary of the country. It shows the multiple and complex relationships that shaped the life of these populations with the process of construction of the Central State and the creation of a Nation “white, European and western”. With a ethical-politics position committed with the rescue of the voice of the others, that seeks the decolonisation of the collective memory, the citizen identities and the historical narratives, the essay also intent to re-think historically what the Argentinean citizens have and owes today to those excluded but also denied communities, aboriginal people however present at the actual time and that has left prints and marks in the national culture.
