Fondo documental escolar e historia educativa: evaluación técnico-bibliotecológica de una colección patrimonial en Corrientes

Abstract

La investigación sobre el fondo bibliográfico de la biblioteca de la Escuela Normal “Dr. Juan Gregorio Pujol” fundada en 1887; tiene por objetivos describir aspectos históricos e institucionales educativos y de gestión documental; evaluar las fuentes con potencial de valor de patrimonio documental; interpretar y fundamentar resultados; para ello aplicó metodologías de estudio de caso y la evaluación cualitativa - cuantitativa en fuentes de investigación secundarias y en fuentes de la colección histórica. Los resultados reflejan el contexto de desarrollo educativo, bibliotecario y bibliográfico; identifican la obsolescencia de más de cuatrocientas fuentes con temáticas educativas, sociales, naturales, literarias, geográficas e históricas; autorías y ediciones relevantes para la reconstrucción de la historia local; rescata las voces de maestros, alumnas, lectoras y bibliotecarias; generan potenciales bienes con valor de patrimonio documental en el marco legislativo sobre patrimonio cultural de la Provincia de Corrientes. Concluye valorando el capital cultural de su colección histórica, su impacto sociológico educativo, su aporte al patrimonio tangible e intangible, su mirada desde el paradigma social de las ciencias de la información, la formación de un espacio de preservación de la memoria y de evidencias para la historia de la educación y de la bibliotecología local.

The research on the bibliographic collection of the library of the "Dr. Juan Gregorio Pujol" Normal School, founded in 1887, aims to describe historical and institutional aspects of education and document management; evaluate sources with potential value as documentary heritage; and interpret and substantiate results. To achieve this, it applied case study methodologies and qualitative-quantitative evaluation in secondary research sources and in sources from the historical collection. The results reflect the context of educational, library and bibliographic development; they identify the obsolescence of more than four hundred sources with educational, social, natural, literary, geographical and historical themes; relevant authorships and editions for the reconstruction of local history; they rescue the voices of teachers, students, readers and librarians; they generate potential assets with documentary heritage value within the legislative framework on cultural heritage of the province of Corrientes. It concludes by valuing the cultural capital of its historical collection, its socio-educational impact, its contribution to tangible and intangible heritage, its perspective from the social paradigm of information sciences, and the formation of a space for the preservation of memory and evidence for the history of education and local library science.
