El comportamiento temporal y espacial de los montos estacionales de precipitación en el nordeste argentino 1931/2005

Abstract

La principal característica climática de las precipitaciones es su irregularidad espacial y temporal, irregularidad que provoca una alta variabilidad, por lo que en ocasiones las lluvias mensuales, estacionales y anuales se alejan marcadamente de sus valores normales. Algunas de estas supuestas “alteraciones” en los montos y distribución de las lluvias, son motivo de variadas interpretaciones, que actualmente, es común atribuirlas a la existencia del “calentamiento global”, asociado al "cambio climático" del que tanto se habla.Basados en la información disponible, nuestro objetivo es analizar el comportamiento temporal y espacial de los montos estacionales de precipitación en el Nordeste de nuestro país, a efectos de detectar fluctuaciones y tendencias interanuales a corto y mediano plazo durante el período 1931/2005.El análisis realizado permitió concluir que los montos pluviométricos presentan tendencias lineales temporal y espacialmente positivas en toda el área de estudio, especialmente en las lluvias de verano y primavera y leves descensos en algunas localidades en otoño e invierno. No obstante, las tendencias polinómicas indican que el aumento no ha sido continuo ni uniforme en el tiempo, sino que revelan la presencia de fluctuaciones u “oscilaciones” interestacionales que delimitan fases secas interpuestas con fases húmedas.

The main climatic characteristic of the precipitations is its spatial and temporary irregularity, irregularity that causes a high variability, so in occasions the monthly, seasonal and annual rains move markedly away from their normal values. Some of these supposed "alterations" in the amounts and distribution of rainfall are the reason of varied interpretations that, at the moment, it is now commonly to attribute them to the existence of "global warming" associated with "climate change" that so much is spoken. Based on the available information, our objective is to analyze the temporary and space behavior of the seasonal amounts of precipitation in the Northeast of our country, to effects of detecting fluctuations and interannuals trends to short and medium term during the period 1931/2005. The carried out analysis allowed to conclude that the pluviometrics amounts presents temporary and spatially positive lineal trends in the whole study area, especially in the summer and spring rains and weigh descents in some towns in autumn and winter. Nevertheless, the polynomial trends indicate that the increase has not been continuous neither uniform in the time, but rather they indicate the presence of fluctuations nor "oscillations" inter seasonally that define dry phases interposed with wets phases.
