De la morbovisibilidad hacia otras formas de testimoniar la existencia. Representaciones de mujeres lesbianas en las producciones documentales argentinas post matrimonio igualitario

Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo es dar cuenta de las formas de representación mediática de la población lesbiana en el cine y la televisión argentina y su proceso de transformación, de la morbovisibilidad a la normalización de la diversidad sexo-genérico-identitaria. Se partirá de una breve referencia a los debates del feminismo y la teoría queer acerca de la identidad lesbiana para identificar las posibilidades de disrupción que reposan en las sujetas cuando asumen la capacidad de narrarse a sí mismas y vulnerar la matriz heterosexual que administra la inteligibilidad cultural. Se tomarán como referencia las formas de mostración y los testimonios de mujeres lesbianas en las series documentales Salida de emergencia (Mathieu Orcel, 2011), Caleidoscopio (María Victoria Glanzmann, 2012) y El jardín de las delicias (Arturo Fabiani, 2012).

The objective of this work is to account for the forms of media representation of the lesbian population in Argentine cinema and television and its transformation process, from the morbovisibility to the normalization of sexual diversity. It will start from a brief reference to the debates of feminism and the queer theory about lesbian identity to identify the possibilities of disruption that rest in the subjects when they assume the ability to narrate themselves and infringe the heterosexual matrix that manages the cultural intelligibility. The demonstration forms and testimonies of lesbian women will be taken as reference in the documentary series Salida de Emergencia (Mathieu Orcel, 2011), Caleidoscopio (María Victoria Glanzmann, 2012) and El Jardín de las Delicias (Arturo Fabiani, 2012). The productions will be analyzed from the forms assumed by the narrative identity in the biographical space that the subjects construct when they testify their life experiences and the dialogues with other discourses that their circulation enables, expanding the forms assumed by the lesbian identity and the tensions between stereotypes and the demonstration of an immeasurable diversity.
