La evolución como modelo de explicación en los textos escolares

Abstract

El presente trabajo se propone indagar sobre los modelos de explicación vinculados con el concepto de evolución en los textos con destino a estudiantes del nivel polimodal en Argentina, a partir de categorías de análisis propuestas por Bar (2005). El modelo que se reconstruye muestra aspectos propios de los sistemas adaptativos, modelos que dan cuenta de fenómenos biológicos donde confluyen tanto variables endógenas como exógenas; donde el devenir del sistema no está dado por el programa biológico, ni por las fluctuaciones ambientales en forma absoluta, sino por el libre juego entre ambos. Este modo de objetivar la vida y sus manifestaciones aportan a una visión más total e integral sobre ella, perspectiva que la apartan del mecanicismo reduccionista y del finalismo vitalista.The present work intends to investigate about explanation models related to the evolution concept in school texts in Argentina, using categories proposed by Bar (2005). The reconstructed model shows characteristics of adaptation systems, models that give account of biological phenomena with endogenous and exogenous variables; where the becoming of the system is neither given by the biological program, nor by the environmental fluctuations in absolute form, but by the interaction between both of them. This way to objectify life and their manifestations contribute to a more total and more integral vision, perspective that moves it away from the reductionism mechanics and vitalism.
