Características de la segregación ocupacional y sectorial de la mujer en el mercado laboral de la provincia del Chaco : algunas particularidades observadas a inicios del siglo XXI

Abstract

Uno de los aspectos frecuentemente observado en los estudios que abordan las diferencias de género es el referido a la desigualdad con que hombres y mujeres se distribuyen en el mercado laboral. Si consideramos la idea que las mujeres tienden a estar ocupadas en ocupaciones diferentes que los hombres, resulta interesante profundizar en observar cómo se da esta situación en el campo ocupacional de la población chaqueña. Es por ello que en el presente trabajo pretendemos mostrar, de un modo descriptivo y basado en el análisis estadísticocartográfico, las diferentes situaciones que presentaba la población ocupada hacia el año 2001, en ocasión del relevamiento censal del país. Los resultados obtenidos hacen visibles la forma que asume la segregación ocupacional y sectorial (horizontal y vertical) de hombres y mujeres en los espacios administrativos de la provincia del Chaco.One of the aspects frequently observed in the studies that approach the sort differences is the referred one to the inequality whereupon men and women distribute themselves in the labor market. If we considered the idea that the women tend to be occupied in different occupations that the men, turn out interesting to deepen in observing how chaquena occurs to this situation in the occupational field of the population. It is for that reason that in the present work we try to show, of a way descriptive and based on the statistical-cartographic analysis, the different situations that presented/displayed the occupied population, released by sex, towards year 2001 in occasion of the censal relevamiento of the country. The obtained results make the form visible that assumes the occupational and sectorial segregation (horizontal and vertical) of men and women in the administrative spaces of the province of the Chaco.
