Algunos datos sobre etnobotánica mocoví

Abstract

Se presenta una cuantiosa información inédita acerca de la etnobotánica mocoví recabada durante 1967 en el sudoeste de la provincia del Chaco. Estos fueron hallados por el Dr. Gustavo Scarpa en la biblioteca del Instituto de Botánica del Nordeste (IBONE) (Corrientes, Argentina). La decisión de publicar tales datos, su actualización, ordenamiento y clasificación en categorías y subcategorías corresponde al investigador mencionado y a la Dra. Cintia Rosso, quienes se encuentran desarrollando investigaciones sobre esta temática desde hace más de cuatro años.A substantial new information about mocovi ethnobotany gathered during 1967 in the southwest of the province of Chaco is presented. They were found by Dr. Gustavo Scarpa in the library of the Instituto de Botánica del Nordeste (IBONE) (Corrientes, Argentina). The decision of publishing, updating, sorting and classification such data into categories and subcategories corresponds to the mentioned researcher and to Dr. Cintia Rosso, who are developing some researchs on this subject for more than four years ago.
