Variaciones histológicas y morfológicas del esmalte, dentina y cemento en dientes permanentes con atrición

Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo fue analizar las características histomorfológicas de piezas dentarias permanentes con atrición. Se obtuvieron 25 piezas dentarias de pacientes que concurrieron a la Cátedra de Cirugía Dento Maxilar II de la Facultad de Odontología de la UNNE, para realizarse exodoncias dentarias. Previa exodoncia, se hicieron las historias clínicas, se tomaron fotografías y radiografías. Las piezas dentarias obtenidas fueron decontaminadas y procesadas, mediante la técnica de diente por desgaste, y observadas al microscopio óptico. Los resultados demostraron que todas las piezas dentarias poseen cierto grado de desgaste dentario, según la escala de Guerasimov. Las de grado 1 y 2 solo afectaron al esmalte, las de grado 3 al esmalte y a la dentina.The aim of this study was to analyze the histomorphological characteristics of permanent teeth with attrition. 25 teeth of patients who attended the Department of Surgery Maxillary Dento II, Faculty of Dentistry for dental extractions performed UNNE were obtained. Previous extractions were performed medical records, photographs and radiographs were taken. Dental pieces obtained were decontaminated, processed by the technique of tooth wear and observed by optical microscopy. The results showed that all the teeth have some degree of tooth wear on the scale of Gerasimov. The Grade 1 and 2 only affected the enamel, grade 3 enamel and dentin.
