La CIDIP-VII y la defensa del consumidor americano. Aportes desde la experiencia del MERCOSUR

Abstract

En el presente artículo se aborda la situación del consumidor ante la expansión de los mercados y por ende del consumo, junto con las consecuencias que trae aparejadas esta situación. En ese contexto, se lleva a cabo un análisis de la normativa que podría llegar a ser aplicable en cada ocasión en la que haga falta regular alguna conducta o situación determinada en el continente Americano. Luego, se hace hincapié en la CIDIP VII, siendo que constituye un componente principal de la OEA en el desarrollo del Derecho Internacional Privado en América y cumple un papel muy importante en la codificación y armonización de este derecho en la región.This article addresses the situation initially consumer, given the same situation generated by the expansion of markets and therefore consumption, along with the consequences that brings about this situation. In this context carried out an analysis of the regulations that might become applicable in time that make regularly lack any conduct or situation in the American continent.Then, the emphasis in CIDIP VII, being that constitute the main component of the OAS in the development of private international law in America and plays an important role in the codification and harmonization of this law in the region.
