Automedicación en estudiantes de farmacia de la Universidad Nacional del Nordeste, Argentina

Abstract

Se reportan los resultados de un estudio transversal, descriptivo y con recolección prospecti- va de la información de automedicación de estudiantes de Farmacia. La población seleccionada fue el total de alumnos regulares del ciclo lectivo 2001 de la Carrera de Farmacia, de la Facultad de Agroindustrias (Universidad Nacional del Nordeste) de Sáenz Peña, Chaco, República Argentina. La muestra estuvo cons- tituida por el 51,8% de la población (216 estudiantes). Se pretendió definir el perfil de conducta de auto- medicación de dichos estudiantes y establecer algunos parámetros“Self-Medication in Students of Pharmacy of The Northeast University, Argentina”. The results of a study (transversal, descriptive, with the information prospective recollection) of self-medication in students of Pharmacy are reported in this paper. The selected population were regular students of the 2001 lective cycle of Pharmacy Career, from the Faculty of Agroindustry, Northeast University (UNNE) in Sáenz Peña, Chaco, Ar- gentina. The size of the sample included the 51.8% (216 students) of the population. It was intended to define their self-medication behavior profile and determine some features allowing the approach to a description of their socio-sanitary reality.
