Abstract
Piper miquelianum C. DC. (Piperaceae, secc. Ottonia) es citada por primera vez para la flora de Argentina (Misiones). Se presenta la descripción de la especie, se agrega un mapa con su distribución geográfica, se proveen fotografías de campo y se sinonimizan tres nombres bajo P. miquelianum (=Ottonia martiana var. latifolia, =Ottonia cordulatifolia y =Piper ovatum var. hirtellum). Además, se designa un lectotipo para Piper ovatum var. hirtellum.
Piper miquelianum C. DC. (Piperaceae, sect. Ottonia) is recorded for the first time for the flora of Argentina (Misiones). The species is described and its geographical distribution and field photographs are provided. Three names of P. miquelianum are synonymized for the first time (Ottonia martiana var. latifolia, Ottonia cordulatifolia y Piper ovatum var. hirtellum). In addition, a lectotype is here designated for Piper ovatum var. hirtellum.
