La calidad de vida urbana. Una propuesta para su evaluación

Abstract

La calidad de vida es un concepto difícil de definir, ya que no sólo abarca necesidades materiales, sino también de otro tipo, las que nos aseguran un desarrollo espiritual y físico conveniente para el desarrollo del hombre. Confluyen en su conceptualización condiciones históricas, culturales y económicas Si bien para su evaluación se debe considerar las características de cada espacio analizado, también es necesario definir algunos indicadores comunes para lograr comparaciones entre ellos, por ello proponemos un modelo para su tratamiento en una ciudad, y de manera particular en un barrio.The city must respond to a conjunction of population’s social and economical needs, to the disposal and generating of a conjunction of satisfactions for those needs, in order to guarantee an acceptable life quality. The primary object consisted in proposing a model to evaluate life quality in areas with natural risks of the city of Resistencia. The paperwork had been organized in two stages: the first one, allowed us to collect bibliographic information about the subject, with the purpose to define the posture on the subject by identifying the indicators we would use, and from them, select the most convenient ones to construct the analysis model. The second stage had the purpose of trying the proposed model. Defined the model, it was applied in two different territorial spaces. Once accomplished that, work was done again in the laboratory to evaluate, do the necessary adjustments and present the definitive model.
