Lineamientos estructurales y geoformas en el curso medio del Río Salado, Resistencia - Chaco

Abstract

En el tramo medio del río Salado, que se encuentra a unos 12 km hacia el sur de la ciudad Resistencia de la provincia del Chaco, se advierte un cambio brusco en el sentido del escurrimiento de este fluvio. La hipótesis que se plantea para explicar tal comportamiento se fundamenta en la presencia de lineamientos estructurales o criptos que condicionan el sentido del flujo y el tipo de red de avenamiento.In the middle section of the Salado river, which his located about 12 km south of the city of Resistencia in the province of Chaco, there is a sudden change in the direction of the flow of this river. The hypothesis that is proposed to explain such behaviour is based on the presence of structural guide lines or crypts that condition the direction of flow and the type of drainage network.
